Metal Castings

We operate our own non-ferrous metal foundry to maintain quality control.  Select materials are outsourced to save the customer time and money.  We have experience in thick-walled castings, used in parts like water pump bodies as well as thinwalled castings common for structural brackets designed to be strong and light.  Listed below are our ecommended molding methods for the metals we service.

Iron Castings

Sand casting iron is faster and better than traditional methods, using our skilled resources.  We help engineered product suppliers develop traditional iron castings in less time through the use of rapid pattern construction methods and tight coordination with local iron foundries.  We can provide grey or ductile iron castings in a matter of weeks.

Aluminum and Zinc Castings

We provide structural aluminum and zinc castings faster than traditional die casting.  Using ceramic and sand molds designed for casting non-ferrous alloys, we can simulate the die casting and retain much of strength of the traditional die cast part.  Excellent metal castings can be produced in less time and at a lower cost than a traditional die cast part.

Reason To Use

Aluminum
Sand/Plaster
Sand allows for a stable alloy and ceramic creates a superior finish.  This is an excellent combination for tin-walled or die cast type parts.
Zinc
Ceramic/Plaster
Ceramic/Plaster insulates the quickly solidifying metal, allowing time to fill the mold.
Iron
SandSand is capable of withstanding the heat of molten iron.  Sand casting is a production representative process.
