Auburn maintains a complete molding operation and tool building facility that allow us to offer customers superior value, control and capacity.  We recently added a new state-of-the-art facility used exclusively for injection molding of prototype parts and low volume production.  The new 64,000 square-foot facility houses a variety of molding machines capable of producing from first part to thousands of production-intent parts.  We operate 14 Van Dorn molding machines at this time, ranging in size from 75 tons to 1,500 tons clamp.

Low Volume Production

Early in your program, talk with your Auburn representative about rapid initial tool build and a second phase automation of slides.  By planning in advance for this activity, we can offer cost reductions to service our customers with low volume production by incorporating select automation into the prototype tool.  Tell your representative about all of your needs for a fast tool so we can combine it with the second phase automation of tooling for low volume production.
