Auburn Engineering Closed

In light of the tremendous financial difficulties faced by American automakers, and the increased competition from prototyping industries in China, Auburn Engineering has closed its operation. All current customers were notified.

On 2 October 2008, an auction was held to sell the extensive machining, injection molding, and related equipment. Tools have been returned to customers or scrapped, as appropriate, and all operations have ceased.
